Psalm 51 - Create in Me a Clean Heart

"Create in me a clean heart, O God and renew a right spirit within me." Psalm 51:10 (ESV)

God is a deliverer. God is good to forgive. God will not turn his back on you because of your sin. Run TO him not FROM him. God will open his loving arms when you bring him a heart full of regret.

I pray God reveals to me the places where I hold sin dear and where I need to surrender and mourn. I serve a God who LOVES for me to run TO him in my sin and shame. David called God a "hiding place." He said that God surrounds us with SHOUTS of deliverance! God will deliver you. He has already put the plan in place for your salvation, for your restoration, for your new beginnings.
